Professor Brian Oldenburg (PhD) is a Professor of Public Health and Head of the Noncommunicable Diseases Unit within the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health. He is a behavioral medicine and implementation scientist and a global expert in the prevention and control of chronic diseases in low and middle-income countries. He is at the forefront of developing new technology platforms and m-Health interventions for prevention an self-management of type 2 diabetes and other chronic diseases. He is also the director of a new NHMRC Centre for Research Excellence in Digital Technology to Transform Chronic Diseasese.
